tibet
there was this thing on the telly the other day on tibet
but it wasn't about tibet now- it was about tibet before it was under china's rule
it was beautiful-- but like look at it now
did you knoww that it is illlegal to even speak about an independant tibet on chinese soil?
orr that the chinese have banned the tibetans having any religious ceremonies and festivals
or that it is illegal to have a photo of the dalai lama?
its so cliche,
but do what you can to free tibet
their human rights must be improved

Thousands of people who pursued their faith outside officially sanctioned churches were subjected to harassment and many to detention and imprisonment. Thousands of people were sentenced to death or executed. Migrants from rural areas were deprived of basic rights. Severe repression of Uighurs in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region continued, and freedom of expression and religion continued to be severely restricted in Tibet and among Tibetans elsewhere.
what we can do isn't much-- but do it.
and hopefully one day we'll see the people of china free of abuse and surpression

china has a bad bad record of human rights. we can't ignore that not only the tibetans are getting it bad- but those in china itself.

wheeeeeeeeee
its like 1240 in the middle of the night and im up blogging.. aduhh
i went shopping today with dad, i know my DAD took me SHOPPING
how amazing.. and i got a pair of jeans, a jumper and a bikini
i'm prettty hyper
ooh and tess put up pictures from like ages ago i'll post one here :D
